Madmax team wins €30.000 in NBIC Venture Challenge 2007
On 2 June, Anand Gavai, Philip de Groot and Jack Leunissen have won
the NBIC Venture Challenge contest with the presentation of their
business case ‘the Madmax database’.
The team held a very enthusiastic presentation for a jury comprising
of participants of NGI Valorization, Biogeneration Venture Fund,
LLMS, Nebib and others. In their presentation they explained how the
Madmax database and related know how on statistics can be developed
into a new enterprise. The 30.000 euro award will be used in a 100
day programme to develop their opportunity further.
