On 5 June, TI Food and Nutrition presented the annual patent and publication prizes. During the festive presentation Michael Muller and Lydia Afman were awarded a publication prize for Nutrigenomics: From molecular nutrition to prevention of disease, published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association.

new employee starts as post-doc to collaborate
in WP-E on Human Studies

Julian Ramakers has started at 15th of April as a post-doc within the Nutrigenomics Consortium. She is situated at the department of Human Biology in Maastricht and will collaborate in WP-E on human studies, focusing on the intestine. Her project will be based on the outcomes of the mice studies performed in WP-A.
